Representation and sector co-ordination

This is our core role as the peak for housing associations in NSW. The purpose is to be a voice for our members, enable them to work together as a sector and to articulate and pursue their common aspirations.

Representation is undertaken through:

• Meeting with key government Ministers and advisors
• Writing submissions to government and parliamentary inquiries (see submissions list)
• Involvement in government committees and advisory groups

Sector coordination is carried out through:

• Coordinating twice yearly statewide housing associations meetings (see publications list)
• Attending and supporting regional housing associations meetings
• Produce newsletters and regional meetings (see publications list)
• work with other community housing peaks
