Members

The Federation exists solely to serve the needs of its members and, through them, the needs of low income tenants and applicants and the local communities in which they live.

Its membership is divided into Full members (who identify primarily as managers of long-term affordable housing), Affiliates (who provide short & medium term supported housing, or housing related services) and Associate members (who have an interest in housing in NSW or who are housing providers from other states).

The Federation has been a leader in encouraging and supporting the highest standards of service and accountability in the sector.  Many full Federation members have demonstrated this commitment by adopting the Federation’s Code of Practice and undertaking the voluntary government managed accreditation against the National Community Housing Standards.
