Good Practice Resources
A range of Good Practice Resources are written and produced each year to support workers and organisations in the community and social housing sector.
Housing Hints
Housing Hints are information sheets for Aboriginal and community housing workers which have been produced jointly since 1998 by the Aboriginal Housing Office and the NSWFHA. Sixteen Housing Hints are currently produced each year on diverse current topics such as water and energy saving tips, handling tenancy and Tribunal issues, legislative and regulatory compliance, new initiatives and services relative to the sector and community development.
The Housing Hints project was awarded the Consumer Services Award for services to the Indigenous Community in 2005 by the NSW Department of Fair Trading.

Across the Board
These are information bulletins designed as a snapshot of current governance topics for directors of housing associations and an ongoing reference for new board members. Across the Boards have been produced since 1998 and have touched on all aspects of governance including board member roles and responsibilities, financial management, key legislative changes, new initiatives in the sector, meeting procedures, and key compliance issues.

Housing Association Resources have been developed to assist housing assocations with partnerships with the private sector.
Good Practice Database
The Good Practice Database is the name for a collection of resources recognised as good practice in the sector. The Good practice Database includes examples of good practice including policies and procedures, successful initiatives, forms and sample documents and reports from NSW and Australia. Good Practice materials are available with permission of the creator and have been recognised by local and national awards, through an accreditation process, or recognised by peers. Housing Management Hotline
The Housing Management Hotline is a telephone information service providing advice and assistance for housing managers. More information is available on the Hotline page.
