e-learning: Social Housing Certificate IV and Diploma

Online learning has really taken off at the Centre for Training in Social Housing.  Participants are enjoying the benefits and flexibility online learning offers, including using chat rooms, discussion forums, online quizzes, games and blogs.  Having our training programs available via e-learning has also meant that our training is not only more accessible for regional organisations throughout NSW, but we have more people participating from around Australia and even internationally.

IT Requirements for E Learning – A Guide

The Centre for Training in Social Housing has worked to build the e-learning capability of the community housing industry nationally. These projects have introduced new learning technologies into the community housing workplace, and strategies to support the uptake of e-learning. We are using Moodle online Learning Management System as the platform

About the E Learning Diploma of Social Housing Project

The NSW FHA (through its business unit – The Centre for Training in Social Housing) was funded by the Australian Flexible Learning framework, and in partnership with Western Sydney Institute of Technology to develop e-learning programs.  Following from the project, all core units of the Diploma in Social Housing are available through e-learning.
