Community Housing Division Scholarships:
The Community Housing Division of Housing NSW provides scholarships for people working in community housing to access appropriate training and education, either through courses offered by the Federation, or offered through universities. The scholarship is worth up to 75% of the course fee and students may claim their scholarship as a reimbursement following proof of successful progress. The scholarships are offered once a year with promotional and application details generally distributed in November/December and an application deadline within the first month of the following year.

Traineeships:
The Certificate IV in Social Housing is recognised as a qualification for new trainees. To be eligible for a traineeship, a potential trainee should hold no previous qualification at a higher level. Trainees must complete the qualification within two years as a full time employee and must be supported by the workplace. Wage subsidies are available from the Department of Education and Training and the cost of training is covered. To find out more visit the DET website: https://www.training.nsw.gov.au/

Centrelink:
The Certificate IV is a recognised course for Centrelink subsidies.
