NSWFHA Submission to AHSEPP Review 2011

Description:

The NSWFHA responded to the Department of Planning's AHSEPP review paper on 1st March 2011. 

The Federation supports the aims of the AHSEPP but believes that it could be improved in a number of ways. Our submission contains the strengths of the SEPP, as perceived by the community housing sector, proposed changes supported by the sector, areas of concern for the sector, and key recommendations for the review process.

Value Manangement and Buildability Assessment for community housing. Guideline series

Description:

Value Management (VM) attempts to balance the relationship between the overall cost and the value of end project within given constraints and requirements. VM enables determination of the most suitable methodologies to be applied for a given location and expected life of the project. Buildability is a review and assessment of the proposed project and its design to detect possible ambiguities or lack of detailed information or documentation.
