Total Asset Management Guidelines – NSW Treasury 2006

This Asset Strategic Planning guideline has been prepared to assist General Government and other agencies to develop Asset Strategies. These plans support government policy on Total Asset Management and focus the management of assets on service delivery.

The Plan will determine the work required to efficiently and effectively address the risks of asset ownership and their impact on service delivery.

Asset Disposal – Strategic Planning

Asset disposal is the final stage in the asset life cycle. Its proper planning and management is therefore an integral part of the TAM strategic process. This document provides guidelines to agencies on the strategic processes for planning disposal of their surplus assets.
